Stuart Cosgrove (Media Festival 2011 Chairman)
Stuart Cosgrove, is Channel 4's Director of Creative Diversity. He leads Channel 4's creative engagement with new companies, diversity of supply and has overall responsibility for Channel 4’s strategy and corporate development outside London. He also manages Education, Sport and Paralympics 2012.
James Kirkham
James Kirkham is Managing Director of Holler, the digital strategy agency he formed in February 2001 with business partner Will Pyne.
Based in Clerkenwell, London, its clients include Channel 4, E4, P&G, Penguin, Redbull, Virgin Media TV, MySpace, Kickers and Covent Garden London.
Helen Boaden
Helen Boaden took up her role as Director, BBC News, in September 2004. In April 2011 she became the Director of BBC News Group, taking on additional responsibility for the Global News division, and joined the BBC's Executive Board.
She oversees UK-wide network news and the BBC's global news division. She also has responsibility for the BBC's 12 English Regions.
James Burstall
James Burstall is the CEO of Argonon, the brand new indie group with an ambition to become the first fully convergent media company bringing together TV, film, brands, mobile, social media and gaming, in May 2011. The first two groups to join the group are James’ own production company Leopard Films, and music and youth specialists Remedy Productions. James is the majority shareholder in the new group and has ambitions to grow the company by creating a centre of excellence in the UK and US.
Susanna Dinnage
In September 2010, Susanna Dinnage was promoted to the role of General Manager of Discovery Networks UK, with responsibility for the day to day running of UK operations. Her remit covers 12 channel brands in the UK across three genres; factual, lifestyle and entertainment. The channels include Discovery Channel, DMAX, Animal Planet, Real Time and Quest, which are viewed by over 3.7 million people per day.
Neil Midgley
Neil Midgley is a freelance journalist and commentator, who writes about media for the Daily Telegraph and other publications.
