Conor Dignam

Head of Media, Emap Inform

Conor Dignam is the group editor of Emap's media titles which includes Broadcast, Screen International and Shots. He has previously edited both Broadcast and Screen International. Conor has responsibility for the editorial direction and business strategy of the three media titles across print and online. Conor has been writing about media for more than 16 years and is the former editor of a number of media titles including Marketing, Media Week and Ad Age Global. He has worked on and edited titles in London, New York and Hong Kong. He is a regular contributor to national newspapers on media issues, including The Times, Independent, Guardian and Financial Times. Conor was part of the team that launched the Media Festival in manchester in 2008. He is the former chairman of the Broadcasting Press Guild in the UK. Conor started his journalism career working for regional newspapers, including the Birmingham Post and Sunday Mercury.

He is married with two sons aged five and eight, who keep him busy.
