Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) recognises the importance of the media sector and is committed to supporting and promoting the dynamic industries that have made the Northwest their home. In consultation with industry and public sector partners, the Agency has produced a new Sector Strategy and Action Plan which sets out the vision and future direction of the sector with the ambition to grow regional output by £1 billion a year by 2015.
Marketing Manchester is the agency charged with promoting Manchester on a national and international stage. Marketing Manchester is delighted to support Broadcast’s Media Festival; yet another first for the region. There is a fantastic range of creative organisations choosing to do business in the city and this event will demonstrate the wonderful diversity of Manchester’s media.
With a huge section of The Quays currently being redeveloped for MediaCityUK, Manchester is set to become a global hub for future media output.
