This timely debate will explore what an online participatory democracy for the future means particularly in the light of unprecedented disgust with traditional political parties. It will also examine the global political landscape as social comment and protest is both liberated and restricted by online distribution and top down government is both threatened and strengthened by the widening digital dialogue.
