Brian is owner and managing director of Boolabus (www.boolabus.com), a recently formed consultancy and product development specialist dedicated to online betting and gaming. Brian has been involved in gaming for well over 10 years and along the way has delivered some innovative and ground breaking products from the first interactive TV betting services to the recent Deal or No Deal product range.
Brian’s focus at Boolabus is in live betting and gaming. He sees the next phase of growth for the gaming sector in connected experiences, social gaming and real-time events. Through Boolabus, Brian is working with brand owners on opportunities in gaming as well as working with gaming operators on increasing player acquisition and revenues by improving the player experience. The gaming sector’s future is in entertainment while the television sector looks to gaming to shore up revenues and extend their brands online. It’s an exciting time for both.
Brian was previously at Endemol Gaming where he was founding creative director and subsequently managing director. He devised and implemented the strategy that saw Endemol transition to a product development / distribution model from the more traditional brand licensing model. He pioneered a push towards online game shows and more mass-market gambling opportunities. At Endemol Gaming Brian also led several projects with various gambling operators on strategic product development work. This included live betting applications, consulting for lottery operators and developing a range of original games. Brian previously worked in product development with Littlewoods Gaming and BSkyB.
All of the above has inspired Brian to create Boolabus for the next era of online gaming. He has put together some of the best experience, talent and skills to create what he hopes will become a key source of innovation in the gaming sector and deliver real growth to media and gaming partners.
